The method is Cheryl Phillips "Rings That Bind." Utilizing border print for the arcs, it took me 42 hours to cut it out and 320 hours to sew and quilt. My advice if you use a border print for the arcs, get fabric with a very close repeat. I did not realize until I had already purchased the fabric, torn it in strips and started to lay it out. I fretted over it for a few days, but then decided to use it anyway rather than purchase more fabric. I stacked the fabric in four layers to cut, so each stack of four arcs are the same, but all sets are not the same (does that make sense?) because of the repeat factor. I am anal about such as that, but I had to get over it or get more fabric, which I did not want to do. My DBFF in TX convinced me it would be okay....and only a quilter would notice. I already have the quilt in a space bag in the suitcase to take to Texas, so I'll take close up pictures when I remove it from the bag. My DBFF is going to embroidery the words from my DD wedding invitation for the label to go on the back. I'll take a pic of that and post it as well. I do have a few recommendations for anyone who wants to utilize this pattern, so send me a PM. When my DD came for a visit, I had just finished the quilt, so I hid it so that she would not see it because it is a wedding gift. She asked me if I was ever going to make her a quilt, and when I do, would I please make it with purples, blacks and golds. BINGO! At least I got the colors right....

This just looks too easy, I must try it. Thanks for posting.

The quilt is beautiful and I had the bonus of a good laugh --- if a non-quilter accidentally clicked the wrong key and wound up on this thread, what would he or she think about "DWR QYG For DD Wedding Gift"? Here's another vote for a closer picture, thanks.

Really like your quilt, colors etc....
