Actually bobbie the square is one size. I used the 24 inch square and added borders. (Sorry for the delay in answering. Life got in the way)

you've completely lost me. A carpenter's wheel is 64 squares, most of which are half square triangles. Why would there be "in-set" squares? |

As to why this quilt is usually so hard - the original version isn't made with squares and HST. Google the original pattern and you'll understand. :) |
