Easy Carpenters Wheel
 

I have drooled over the Carpenters Wheel for months, but was terrified to even try it since it looks like a difficult block to make. I was at Quilter's Cache last week and found this 'easy' version of the block. I am patting myself on the back because it really was EASY!!!!!

That is awesome. My brother is a retired carpenter and I want to make him one. What are the measurements for the squares...if you don't mind sharing.

Yours is beautiful! I've always wanted to try making one too... you may have inspired me that I could. My sewing skills are sometimes the pits and I've always had trouble matching points/seams etc. If this one says it is easy, I may just have to try it! You did a great job!

That is a beauty! Did you do the version where you use HST instead of (those dreaded) set-in squares? I've used that method & LOVED it! Thanks for sharing this with us! It's great!
