Love your quilt! Just noticed where you are from.... Loved your little 'town'! I grew up in Locke, NY which is situated about 20 miles from Ithaca, Cortland and Auburn! I graduated from BOCES in Auburn more years ago then I want to remember :)! We traveled through Waterloo to go from home to my sisters place in Bliss, NY. It's sad what has happened to all the little towns along route 5 & 20. What character they have!

I am proud to have grown up and raised my family in a small town. My youngest is the one who has plans to fly (by all means!) but my older two are also raising their families close to home too. That is not to say that sometimes I daydream about living somewhere "exotic" and less familiar. |
