I am crazy about embroidery and quilting so I spend a lot of time playing in my software to create blocks. The designs from this quilt come from Sue Box. I used 33 designs from ten different collections to create the blocks. |
Beautiful, I admire your patience. I have a embroidery machine and have yet to try anything like this. You have inspired me, Thank you.
Gorgeous quilt and it looks like the sashing was made for those beautiful blocks
ohhh, it is beautiful. I would love to see close ups of some of the blocks. Did you quilt it with your embroidery machine too?
Very pretty, great job

Beautiful quilt. You did a great job with picking beautiful, elegant colors.

wow,very pretty

What a fantastic quilt! Quilting and Machine Embroidery are my favorite things to do, but I've been too scared to try merging the two. Your quilt is inspiring me to get busy and make one! What kind of stabilizer did you use?

On this particular project and for all my embroidery quilts my favorite stabilizer is a medium tear away from Inspira. |
The background quilting is free motion. Right now this is hanging at my local quilt shop but as soon as I get it back I"ll post some close up photos of blocks.
Very lovely!

Looks very elegant and sophisticated! Great work!

Your quilt is just absolutely stunning. Is your background fabric Fairy Frost; looks like it and I love F/F. Think I might like to try this. Thank you for getting my juices flowing.
Thanks for the close-up and the additional info! Your quilt is even more gorgeous up close in the details!

Stunning. BrendaK

Definitely sophisticated elegance. Your photo looks like it should be on a magazine cover. The quilt is elegant and luxurious in the same way a whole cloth quilt is. I love your color choices. And the design elements are extremely interesting. All the embroidery designs you chose are unique, but they come together in a cohesive way. I feel so inspired!
I also meant to add that the quilting on this is beautiful. I don't know if everyone is able to zoom in, but I am, and it is gorgeous and compliments the elements of your design perfectly.
Beautiful. Great choice of designs. And your quilting is outstanding.
Wow, that is fantastic. I have some Sue Box designs and I guess I need to try something like this.
Gorgeous! Has a real vintage look to it.
Gorgeous. Lovely design and colour palette, so elegant.
