Emma's Stars II Quilt

I have made 3 of these quilts now. I love how they go together, and how different fabrics change the look. This one is in spring colors because I am in dire need of Spring.

I also have fallen in love with the flange binding. Found it on the internet, and it works beautifully, and just sort of adds another design element to the quilt.

That is such a pretty "springy" quilt. Love the stars in the sashing and love your fabrics you used.

What is the name of this pattern? I love what you've done and need to make a little boy quilt. Thanks in advance for the info!

"Emma's Stars LL quilt" IS the name! Google it, quite a few patterns. I like it too!

Pretty quilt! I use the Quick machine binding with flange on QB. It does make a nice finish and the extra firmness of the binding makes a stable edge.

suern3 02-15-2017 03:12 PM

Very pretty quilt and nice touch with the binding!

What a lovely quilt. I like your fabrics, and the stars in the corner really add a nice touch.

That is a great pattern...thank you for sharing. It looks like a fun little quilt to put together for little ones.

quilterpurpledog 02-16-2017 04:27 AM

Very interesting pattern. It looks like one of those fun "go-to" patterns because of lots of fabric choices. Lots of interest in it.

I really like the Emma's Stars pattern. I have bought too many jelly rolls, and this just may be the way to use some of them up. Thanks for posting.

Really nice quilt. Love the backing fabric you picked for it.

Evie 02-16-2017 07:57 AM

Very nice and very spring-like.

Digitabulist 02-16-2017 08:56 AM

just adorable in either gender fabric.

juliea9967 02-16-2017 09:37 AM

I've used jelly rolls to make this quilt, and they work great. The pattern calls for 5 fat quarters, which I did with this girl quilt. The jelly rolls give you more variation, and I think I like that better.
