Don't you love it when a plan comes out great!

I think what makes the quilt pattern if the use of the Black fabric. Angelika Monks a very well known quilter, of German origin but now living on this Island, is a quilting buddy of mine and she taught me the virtues of using black instead of white and neutral colours for back grounds. They do a brilliant postal service but as it is only about an hour and a half drive from us, we share the petrol cost and go over for lunch which is always brilliant and at a wonderful price, so it's a win win situation, especially as they also do the most amazing selection of Polar Fleece which is a great price as well, which I use a lot for Project Linus quilts, aren't we a lucky group of quilters :)
