I know how you feel..when the boxes started showing up with my handiquilter, I thought I was going to freak out..alot of money and I needed to learn to use it.. it has been such a joy (and addiction). we spend alot of time in our rv where I make my quilt tops..then I drive the 180 miles home so I can playyyyy..have fun.

I too have the Pfaff GrandQuilter Hobby 1200 and Next Generation frame. Do your carriages have the original plastic wheels? If so, they make metal replacement wheels and the machine moves much easier and more accurately with the metal wheels. I got mine online at Whitlocks Sewing and Vacuum.
