Your quilt is a real eye-catcher, and all the more wonderful because you used such a wide variety of fabrics, including from your aunt's and grandmother's stash. You really can't call yourself a beginner anymore!

Oh WOW!!!!!! It definitely took some planning on your part to create this beautiful quilt! Well done and you sure don't look like a beginner to me. I truly believe that we who quilt, sew and do other various forms of crafts are very talented people and do their craft well. Now it's not to say we all can't or don't have something to learn...that's what makes us grow and become better :)

KS, my pattern does not have the extra star in the corners. I think I like yours better. Trying to keep a colorpattern going correctly has been a real snag for me. Your quilt is lovely

Beginner, I don't believe you.....LOL When I was a beginner, I would have never tried that pattern. It turned out super.

I think this quilt could very well stand alone without a border. I think I might just bind it off. I would not want anything to take away from the eye-catching top.
