Hmmmm,,,,,,,well, you could always sell just the tops, and let the buyer quilt them. I know someone  who would snap up one of them!
|
gaigai--you're still buying? Actually, I'd like to keep two and a friend wants to buy another baby quilt, but I think she may want something brighter. If she does, one will be for sale. but--she has no means of quilting this either... I'll check with her.
I'm not worried about the Nursery Rhyme Time one, but quilting these two... shudder. |
Beautiful.

Very nice!

Karla they're beautiful! And I KNOW you can FMQ! Sending you positive, meandering vibes! :-D

My dear bb, I know, without a doubt, that you can not only quilt those tops, but that the workmanship will be better than good!!!
And while I would love to have another bb original, I want to make my own. I just figured it would get a reaction! LOL You are going to do an AWESOME job on quilting those two, and when they are done, we are ALL going to say those four dreaded little words: "We told you so"!!!! :P :P :P :P |
Oh I hope so. It's all those BIG open places... maybe I can trace something on and follow that....
I think I'll avoid it for a bit and move onto the next project. |
Don't put it off. You can do a great job on them. Then you can go on to something else. Than you will have a free mind.
|
Karla, they are so pretty. I'm no expert with the actual quilting either....I keep putting it off. Once the top is done, I lose interest. Maybe you could do a crosshatch grid on the diagonal.....,guess you'd have to mark the open spaces though. Good luck with it.
|
Karla---they are yummy!! I love them both! And ranger beat me to my quilting suggestion for you. A cross hatch on the diagonal is not as "boring" as stitch in the ditch--and not as daunting as FM quilting. And I think it is a quilting pattern that would compliment the TIC. Consider it......
