Fabric boxes from QB thread
3 Attachment(s)
After seeing this thread I had to try making some. They are fast and so versatile.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/links-r...ml#post6311955 I am going to use them at work as prizes or for raffle gifts. We have "The Fun Police" and they put together games and other stuff employees can participate in. If you do, you collect raffle tickets and after a time you can put your tickets into any number of boxes to win little gifts. It is a lot of fun. For this season we are invited to make tombstones that will be displayed in the campus gardens. There will be prizes for this and these little boxes will be part of that. These are just some of what I plan to make. All are from scraps and the smallest was made from a 9"sq and then 11"sq and the largest are 12" sqs. Thank you again for sharing this link: peace |

I love how you can tuck the scissors - and things - in the corners of the sides. I like how firm you made them. What did you use for the batting?

My daughter is getting married this Friday - and is agonizing about what to use for the plastic forks, knives and spoons for the buffet at the reception. Guess I can whip up a few of these, in her colors and scheme and then she can use them later for whatever. Thanks for the idea.

I think I'll have to look up that tutorial, as I love your boxes. I could definitely use one next to my recliner for little odds and ends, especially when I'm doing some hand sewing.

Thanks for sharing your boxes with us. I missed the original link, and now I've pinnned it to my 'Boxes
board. These look like the simplest fabric boxes to make I've seen! |
