Thanks for all the extra info. I was thinking the 10" widths seemed a little too jumbo! The smaller ones would be nicer.

Since posting earlier, I remember doing a similar thing ..... using cording and braiding to make a wreath for tree ornaments. Or turning fabric on cording for the braids.

How do your get your wreaths to stay round - they're beautiful! I made one in patriotic fabrics for Memorial Day and it hangs like a sloppy oval. I don't plan to use it again unless I can do something about the problem. Do you have advice for me? Thanx.

I love them.
I have one from the 80's that a girlfriend mother was making and selling.
It still looks great and comes out every Christmas.
