How great and they look time consuming to me!!
beautiful - looks like a lot of work!
Those wreaths are great and bring back memories of a number of years ago when they were very very popular. I can see why, I still like them!
Very cute - now I will add that to my list also. Thanks for the link.
WOW haven't seen these in years - I think I made one many years ago.
Those are very pretty. Thanks for sharing. (and thanks for the link)
I made heaps of these in the eighties. They go well at a Christmas market. Nice work.
Those bring back fond memories- I made 2 of them in the late 70's or early 80's.
Great job!! :) |

Thanks for sharing this, will be making these for my friends this year as hostess gifts.
Looks like everything old is new again!
Although, for me, this is all new ..... great idea and thanks! Did you stuff the long tubes? or leave the open sections as they suggested in the pattern? Great way to use up leftover poly battings. |
I made one years ago. Never really liked it, probably didn't like the fabric I chose. Your wreaths are nice looking.

Great way to use up leftover poly battings. them closed . Also with the openings I was able to hand stuff the larger tubes, we got progressively smaller , the smallest one was about 6 1/2 inches by the 44 inch WOF, just had to braid it tight but I liked the smaller one the best. I learn best by trial and error. ;-) |
they are very nice!!
Nice job........
I think they are great! Thanks for the link, too...

Or turning fabric on cording for the braids. |
I made one years ago and lost the pattern -- thanks for posting this. Your wreaths are terrific!
Fun and festive!
I love them.
How do your get your wreaths to stay round - they're beautiful! I made one in patriotic fabrics for Memorial Day and it hangs like a sloppy oval. I don't plan to use it again unless I can do something about the problem. Do you have advice for me? Thanx.

I love them.
I have one from the 80's that a girlfriend mother was making and selling. It still looks great and comes out every Christmas. |
Very nice I like that.
Wow, very nice!

Barbara frame sewn onto the back. You could also just use a wire coat hanger shaped into a round and sewn onto the back. There are also floral wire frames you can buy but I just used what was already around the house. Here's photos, hope you can see what I mean... Thank you to all for your lovely comments, I'm going to try some in other seasons to switch off all year. |
Those are very neat wreaths. You did a great job making them.
Absolutely gorgeous
Wonder? Could you do your braid with the circular wire frame in the midst of the braid?
Very pretty!
