Does anyone else like to make fabric postcards? I have become addicted to them. It's become an alternate greeting to an impersonal paper card and my recipients are loving getting them (if they don't love it they don't ever get another one ) :evil: So fun to create. Here are a few of my favorites I've made and I'd love to see yours.

Christmas

They are super..I have done many many for my now 3 yr old grand daughter who moved to NC but did a few for adults too...I posted pics of them on the boards a few months ago

Awww, I've never done a postcard, but would love to try it. I really like the "hi" one with the pic of your brother. Just adorable.

You should be able to Google fabric postcards and get many hits. If not, PM me and I'll get instructions to you. One of these days I plan on doing some, just don't know when. LOL

I started out with fabric backs but decided I wanted to actually mail them and write on them and it's easier to write on paper. So I print the back on good quality copy paper and fuse it to lightweight fusible interfacing so that I can sew on it (because the satin stitch would perforate the paper and it would fall off otherwise). I also use the heavier weight Innerfuse between the front and back.
