Fading Footprints and Golden Anniversary Quilts - Entered at the Fair
2 Attachment(s)
Well, I bit the bullet. I've never entered the State Fair before but I've done it. I've entered my two quilts in the State Fair and I have to part with them tomorrow! I keep telling myself hyperventilating will NOT help anything. :)
So if you live the Columbus, Ohio area, I hope you get a chance to see them. I did enter them in the IQA Houston show, but they were not accepted. I didn't think they would be and I didn't have high expectations but the State Fair is probably a better start. Good luck to all those who are entering fairs or shows this year. Great entries and you will have to show us your ribbons!

Can't believe they weren't accepted. They are wonderful, even if they don't ribbon. Thanks for sharing

I really like what you did. Best of luck in the judging. If I were the judge, .....but I'm not.

Beautiful quilts... is that your wedding picture? Wow, on that one!
The animals are beautiful and it seems like you showed some of those blocks as you were painting them. Your talents are amazing. Sure to 'ribbon' at the fair. |
You're very talented. I'm sure people will enjoy seeing these at the fair.

Good luck at the fair. They are wonderful. BrendaK

These are beautiful and unusual quilts. If I were a judge, I'd give them very high grades. Please let us know how they are received. (Heck, every state fair is a little different in what they value.)
