[QUOTE=JoyceHoopes;7401829]Lisa WOW everyone has used all the words to describe this incredible quilt. Have you decided what you are going to do with it. It really does deserve to be seen by others. If you were willing I'd bet the World Wildlife group would be happy to use it for their group website or catalogs. And that's just the start of the requests you will get...
Thank you for your kind words, Joyce.. Right now I have no plans for it. Usually I worry about that AFTER I get a quilt finished not before. My last art quilt was of Secretariat, which I got signed by Penny Chenery (owner) and Ron Turcotte (jockey) at the Secretariat Festival in Paris, KY. We have an excellent Zoo here in Columbus and I thought about asking Jack Hanna to sign it. At some point, I may consider donating it to the Columbus Zoo. |
This is one stunning, unique and super fantastic quilt.

This is one fantastic quilt. The painting is fantastic, especially on fabric, then to do the 3 dimensional leaves and tree adds another dimension altogether, and the thread painting on the animals is something that most of us wouldn't even attempt to do, and the final project is just stupendous. And to remember the animals we have endangered with our live style adds so much to this quilt and makes it more special yet.
