Fall Bargello completed, Solstice Stars and applique
6 Attachment(s)
Here are the last 3 projects I have completed. I enjoyed doing the bargello the most.
If you remember, I had posted pictures of my fall bargello in progress. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t163896.html The pattern is Links by Dereck Lockwood. The pattern of the second quilt is Solstice Stars by Jason Yenter. The applique is Toni Whitney's pattern Spirit, by the Bigfork Bay Cotton Company. I had to sneak in a picture of my quilt inspector also. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Elise |
Your bargello is beautiful. The black ? really makes the colors pop. Beautiful fabrics in your Christmas quilt. Is your Eagle needle turn applique or fuse? I'n no good at applique so I'd have to fuse. Your quilt inspector looks comfortable. Only 3 of my 7 cats think they need to inspect quilts.

Love them all! Your bargello is stunning and I love the black in it!
|
All of your quilts are beautiful and so is your kitty! Great job!

Love the bargello quilt
|
They are all fantastic...and that Eagle is magnificent...
|
Oh!! All three quilts are lovely!! The bargello is exquisite! I have a bargello pattern that I plan on doing someday :P I remember when I worked in a fabric store and ladies would come in looking for 5-8 or so fabrics for one quilt top - I couldn't see how they could do it. Now here I am, doing the same thing myself with a lot of confidence (most times) in my selections without having to ask someone else's opinion. But, a bargello??? With how many different fabrics??? Hmmm. . . . I will take the plunge . . . . one day. Thanks for posting your finished quilts!

Your quilts are beautiful and so is the wall hanging...good job..:)
|
WOW! That bargello took my breath away. You've used my favorite colors and the piecing is fantastic. Love the others too but the bargello is my fave.

Love your quilts and your cat looks just like our oreo. And she like to set on my quilt when working on them to.
|
Oh, what a nice job you've done on all of them - awesome!
|
Love the bargello and would like to know the name of the pattern with the second one with the Christmas prints and that your kitty loves.
|
Beautiful bargello!

Ok I gotta admit that for a long time bargellos weren't among my favorite. Then I came to the board and well I sort of started to like them and certainly loved the ones you all created, but still it wasn't at the top of my to do list. Then something changed and I really started to think about making one. And now after seeing this one I know that someday I will tackle making one and it is now on my to do list. It is stunning. Great job!. All your quilts are great, but the bargello stirred me the most.
|
You are so talented and your work is gorgeous. Your "inspector" is a very pretty kitty. :)

That is an amazing Bargello - probably one of the pretties I have seen on the site. Your Christmas quilt is great, too, but I especially love the eagle - so magestic. Nice cat photo - my two could care less about my quilts unless they are on my lap!
