A couple of weeks ago I found a quilting book in the library that was mostly fireplace mental scarves. I had made one with cross stitched blocks many years ago for the Christmas season, but somehow felt the urge to make a fall one. So after two days of work, it is now on my mantel. Thanks for looking!

Would you share the name of the book with us? I have been looking for a fall scarf as I try to keep my mantel covered. I HATE IT! (had to add the caps for effect). You did beautiful work.

Love your scarf! I have seen so many beautiful things you've made. Wish I was half as productive as you are, maybe if I didn't spend so much time on this site.....

tolepainter54 09-15-2010 10:07 AM

Beautiful

laureneberhard 09-15-2010 10:13 AM

Nicely done. I use mantle scarf patterns as window valances with a few adjustments. Always come out great and everything can match!

sunkistmi 09-15-2010 10:14 AM

Ditto, Emma S!
