I love your Falling Leaves. That tiny border just makes it! I can just see those Canadian leaves falling. Most leaves here in W TX don't change slowly & fall gracefully. One day it's hot then the next day it freezes & all the leaves are on the ground. Well... maybe not every year, but very often.

Adorable! I love it.

Thanks DublB ... Autumn is probably my most favourite time of the year! The greens are richer IRL, somewhat whitened out here! All the little squares within are one inch finished blocks. So that makes those HSTs tiny. Well, not quire so tiny as OKSGlad's minis! I snagged a couple of red ribbons (Red=1st in Canada) when I showed it last year.

I love the plaids you put in it, and the colors you used for the leaves all look so pretty with that green!

THANKS!! You really should head North and check out our leaves IRL. Some years are better than others ... really depends on the weather as to how colourful they are, and how long they last. Get a rain and/or wind and they can be gone oh so soon.

I'd love to! Right now I can't go any further than 6 or 7 hours from my DMIL. If something happens ta her I've got ta be available. I'm really taking a chance with this retreat. At least DH will be here if something happens. Maybe later.

Agreed whole-heartedly. I like the filler strips. They make it more interesting. The thin contrast inside the border is effective too. Well done. I am inspired to do that on one of my quilts in the future, thanks for sharing.
