I made this piece for a friend of mine for his mom. He wanted to and I quote "win christmas".

the swirls are from the fabric. I had a bunch of this in christmas colors but this is the last of it. I can' help but collect swirl fabric

Great quilt! Wish I would have thought of this one myself years ago! We always had the (mom loves me best because I got her____). No one took it serious, it was all in fun! How ever I did make her a quilt wit all the grand kids coloring a picture to put in the quilt and it was a hit!
