Farmer's Wife Pony Club Finish
1 Attachment(s)
I did this with a group here on the board. The setting blocks are called Stepping Stones and are from Kansas Troubles. It took us 45 weeks to do the blocks but a little longer to get it all assembled and quilted. I used the QAYG method. The quilt pattern was the Baptist Fan for the Pony Club blocks and for the Stepping Stones, I outlined the raw edge applique. Thanks for looking.

Oh my goodness! Stunning! What a lot of patience you have.
Very Nicely done ! I like the colors you choose.
I have this one my to do list. |
Looks great. I'm going to have to try QAYG since I only have a walking foot and older machine that won't accommodate larger quilts.

Wow! Amazing quilt.
Oh GGal ... that is absolutely stunning!
I really like the on point lines that your Stepping Stones have created. Very effective, indeed!! And to think I have one of your Stepping Stones .... Thank you! It's going to be a true memory, and discussion point when sharing my BB quilt with others. |
gardnergal970, you did a wonderful job on your quilt. It is beautiful.
That is beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous!
Absolutely awesome quilt!
A stunner for sure. Pretty colors and the pattern is wonderful.
What a clever arrangement! And it just dawned on me where I saw the connecting block before:D This is just gorgeous, GGal.
It is so awesome...I think it belongs in a quilt show so you can collect the blue ribbon. Wow!
What a clever layout! It is just gorgeous.
Thanks all. You are very kind. I would never have finished it if it hadn't been for the group I was "riding" with. Since judges don't ride a galloping horse, entering a competition is not in the picture. My skills are improving but not to perfection.
It is a beautiful quilt, a lot of work, I hope you are going to keep it for yourself and enjoy it can very much. You can
enjoy it your self, and show off all your work. |
This is gorgeous! I love the setting blocks! I might have to do this with the set of blocks I have right now.
Really beautiful!!
OMGosh!!! It's just breathtakin', GG! Do ya think I'll ever git mine finished???
Wow! What a gorgeous quilt!!! I love it. That little baby took a lot of time and effort.

I really love your quilt. You did a fantastic job on it. A keeper for sure.
Wonderful job, I think that horse could come to a standstill and it would still look great.
