I think this is the first time I've seen a green and white quilt and it is stunning! All the blocks are so interesting to look at. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this quilt. It is is just gorgeous.
What a fantastic finish with fifty three...I love that you stuck to a color theme, it makes your block patterns easy to distinguish. Great job!
Lovely quilt and the monochromatic color choice and on point setting makes your piece more "modern". A stunning example of this series of blocks.
I have about 35 of 110 to go. A good challenge and I am determined to all and then remind myself to never start something like this again....:o I am using warm tones of civil war type colors. |
Beautiful! I love your color choice.
Awesome, lots of pieces. Colors are refreshing.

That is GORGEOUS!!!. Never would have thought of doing this with minimal colors, but it turned out fabulous.

It is just beautiful! Great job!

One of the original ladies of FWSQ did hers in green and it was lovely; yours is stunning to look at. I know how much work each square was to do. Two the three different books I have finished during the fourth book now. Love how you have quilted it as well. The series was the Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt, the Pony Club and Farmer's Wife 1930 by Laura Aaron Hird. Latest book is called Bible Sampler. We did the three on QB and they can be found in archives.
Fantastic.
Love the idea of the white binding. Just makes the whole quilt pop!
I have Farmers Wife and have not begun any of the blocks yet a project for another day. You interpretation is absolutely stunning!

Such a labor of love. It's gorgeous!!!
I like the monochromatic colors. Very soothing to me.
What a gorgeous quilt! Great job!
Very nicely done. I Love all the shades of green.
Fabulous use of greens and whites. Love it. Can you tell us who printed this book as when I went out to look for it, a number of books popped up. Some say 96 blocks, some say 111 blocks.....some from the 20's, some from the 30's.....so hard to tell which book. A pic of your book would be helpful too. When you said paper pieced, I was hooked.
congrats on being the quilt of the week on the Home page this week
love the colors and quilting
Absolutely stunning quilt! Please give us the name and author of the book you used. I can't find one that has paper-pieced block patterns. Thank you.
Green is my favorite color. I love your sampler. It is beautiful. When you no longer want the quilt, you can throw it my way. Hehe.
