Fast quilt top done in a day

I don't remember who posted this and cannot find it now but it was a free pattern posted from Clothworks called Nature Rhythms and I want to say Thank You. I was asked to make a quilt for a Craft Fair held at my DGD's pre-K. It needs to be handed in before the 2nd week of November. I was collecting FQ's for a jar quilt and decided to use them for this quick pattern. I can see myself making a few more of these with different themes as presents. I was so excited about how quick the quilt top comes together that I had to post it. Thanks so much for looking.

Thanks sooo much Helen! I’ve been stressing about pullingtogether several Christmas presents that I don’t have made (or planned) yet and you’ve providedan excellent answer to my dilemma. Thank you also for noting where you found thepattern. Figuring out piecing comes easily for me, but one of my pet peeves is notbeing able to give credit where credit is due.

valleyquiltermo 10-10-2013 03:10 PM

ey still have the pattern for free. I love yours and I can think of a few I'd like to do to showcase some of my I don't want to cut fabrics.

Your quilt came together nicely-like the "jar" fabrics.

IBQUILTIN 10-12-2013 09:38 AM

I have seen that quilt a couple of times now, and still love every one of them better than the last. What size is the focal fabric square? You did a wonderful job with your choices for a child's quilt

QUILTNMO 10-12-2013 10:41 AM

very pretty!!!!!

The focal fabric is cut into 8 1/2" blocks. Thank you all for all your kind words!
