Very very cool!
My mother has made me two of those, for our new baby, they're so fun looking, and ppl who look at them can't quite figure out how they were done, lol!

You layer like, 4 or 5 different colours of flannel one on top of the other, pin, and sew diagonal lines through the whole stack, like, 1.5 inches apart (or whatever), then you either cut through all the layers but the bottom one with scissors, or there is this special tool you can buy that's made especially for that, that you just zip through in between the seams.
then you bind, and throw int in the washer and dryer a couple of times so it fuzzes and fluffs up, and voilą !!!

I love your bright colors. I have made a few of these and love them but they are so time involved I have yet to make us one. Yours is gorgeous!!! :-D

What a clever idea to make it with stripes! I love this!

My niece has one of those from her "other side" of the family (my sister's MIL made it). They are so warm and heavy. She loves hers, and it always washes up so nicely. I kind of want one for myself, but it looks like a lot of work. All that cutting! Not to mention a lot of flannel!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments........

You can make one of these in sections and then sew them together.... makes it a lot easier to work with.
one side has the chenille and the other side is blocks.... or you can make one side chenille and the other side look like rag quilt.
Hope some of you try making one they are fun.

Like everyone else I really love the colour combination and it looks so happy. Well done.
