This Feathered Star Needs a Name...

1 Attachment(s)
This wall hanging began in March 2010 at a Marsha McCloskey quilting camp. I had started two quilts but had never completed one at that time.

It's the only feathered star that I've seen that is set on point. Marsha has never designed one that way, and she encouraged me to try it. I designed one of the inside borders with 44 set-in seams so that I'd learn how to do them. This was really hard to do for a beginner, and I liked it alot.

I sent it to a long-arm quilter. She kept it for 11 months, and I didn't like some of the quilting so I've spent a long time picking some of it out and redoing it on my domestic machine. I'm tired of fooling with it, and I'm calling it done!

All I need is a name for the label. I have no ideas left. Can you help me name her?

Finicky feathers (you are finicky about doing anything more with it)

or fussy feathers (cause you fussed with it so much)

I'm usually not good at naming quilts, but when I saw your beautiful feathered star, "A Salute to Jenn" came to me

Marsha Made Me Do It. Very well done, I know how difficult that pattern is because I have attempted it. Notice, I said attempted.
