ok some people may get offended and it is not my intention to do so but 3 of my older grandsons are civilwar buffs. They wanted Rebel Flags. So I made one a quillow and two of them got quilts. My sister is a civil war buff too. I don't see why anyone should be offended as it was part of our history. Did you see the post Loretta did of a diary from that time period? The prices of fabrics and such were so much higher then I thought!

yes they did,I made them for Christmas 2004 the year I retired. Bruno will not go spend the night anywhere without his. I have repaired it several times. He keeps putting his feet into the pouch. I told him I would make him another and it would be a quilt,his reponse,Why nanny,whats wrong with this one. It really amazed me how the 5 boys took to those quillows and quilts. Bill'sBonBon

I went to 'Missipi' and 'Lusianna' a few years back and bought a wondet ful T-shirt with that flag on it. It's my favorite, but one morining we went to breakfaxt and the guys made me put on a sweatshirt due to the part of town we were in. My intentions were not even remotely related to offending anyone, Im just still a Rebel at my age and I love that flag!!! When I was young just becuase we didn't like something our folks did we didn't call it 'politically incorrect' we just were irratated and went on bout our business. What has this world come to anyway????
