Wonderful! I used to work in long term care. This is ideal.

These remind me of the "busy books" that used to be made to entertain little ones when in church or other places where they had to sit still. Is there a web-site that suggests what to put on these? I'd like to make some for the nearby Alz. unit where our Aunt used to live, in her final days.

Other things to use:
Plastic that has a very crinkly sound
Ruffles
Lace, especially made with large thread to be easily felt
Different furs and faux furs

These are fun for babies, Alzheimer's patients and blind people.
