I made this quilt for my grandson who will be 7 in a few weeks. I used a pinwheel pattern with whirly-gig quilting. The quilting was done using a varigated color thread so that it would stand out on the back. I figured that if he outgrew Scooby-Doo (in the green print), he could use the backside of the quilt. :-D
