Finally Done
 

Many months ago I asked for advice from all of you wonderful experienced quilters. I had been given a bunch of star blocks from a friends Mom, who's doesn't see well enough to quilt anymore. I have finally finished! [ATTACH=CONFIG]583051[/ATTACH]

Lovely quilt. In fact it is just beautiful. I am sure your friend's mom will be pleased to see what you have done. I know it is hard to give up quilting (or any other hobby) because of vision decline. I have AMD and know my time is limited. But, I quilt one day at a time. I know others will carry on and that will make me happy. You have done a wonderful and loving thing for someone else. Be blessed!

Thanks everyone. It was hard to finish someone else's vision. She was a hand quilter, and the blocks were done 'quilt as you go'...neither of which I have any experience. It is easy to see where her work starts and my work ends, and I like it like that. Her son (my friend) will bring it to her in a couple of weeks.
