Brings back memories.

Great looking quilt but to be truly a Tupperware quilt of the 70's your aqua should be a bright avacado green. I know as I got married in 1976 and everything at my shower was brown, orange and green and some of that Tupperware is sill in my house!

Tweety2911 12-22-2011 10:59 AM

Beautiful!

I love the design. Simplistic, but serene. I too, married in 1976. Avacado green it was.

Treasureit 12-22-2011 11:28 AM

Those colors are back....your right on time! Great quilt

sandraa 12-22-2011 11:40 AM

Avocado green it was, but I like your colors much better.

I love this quilt! You did a great job combining old with new. It looks really contemporary to me. Which part of St. Louis? St. Peters area here. Kudos!

BLAP 12-22-2011 12:49 PM

I really love the colors.

Conniebury 12-22-2011 01:35 PM

Do you mean the celery keeper or the color celery?:D Tupperware has priced itself right out of my house! Love the product, though.

Your quilt is really crisp (like celery!) and colorful!

Xstitshmom 12-22-2011 07:03 PM

Great quilt. I got married in 1978 and I had those ugly green canisters in my kitchen!

lisalovesquilting 12-22-2011 07:10 PM

It's beautiful. Great work.

dunster 12-22-2011 07:10 PM

Avocado, coppertone (brown), harvest gold, almond (off-white), burnt orange - weren't those the colors of the 70's? For kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, everywhere! Now everything is stainless steel.

Your quilt is beautiful, and your description brought back memories...

JJean 12-22-2011 07:10 PM

What a knockout! Thanks for sharing!

littlesurfer 12-23-2011 04:35 AM

I still have the 70's tupperware, also. Nice quilt.

Sandygirl 12-23-2011 05:13 AM

The colors may not be represented in the photo as it really is in "real life". My photos never show what the quilt truly looks like in person. Might be the photo. I like it too btw.

Love the title, and my son would love the quilt! It's right up to the minute on trend, but still a real blast from the past!

Still have and use the tupperware strainer in the green. Can't seem to part with it. Love the quilt.
