Finally finished my Good Fortune mystery quilt
 

I didn’t add all the different borders, but finished it off with just a solid. It’s quilted and the binding is machine stitched to the front- still need to do the hand stitching but am so happy to have it this far.

Beautifully done. I love your color combination. The blue and green have a wonderful calming effect on the orange. But, yet, the orange still sings. I love it!

I've been on a roll in pairing pink and orange together. Will now think of adding blues and greens to my oranges for a different effect.

ive felt the same way- couldn’t wrap my head around a mystery quilt- I want to know what I’m making. How else am I supposed to choose colors? then when this one came up & I was just starting trying to gain some sort of control over my scraps I decided....what the heck- might as well give it a shot- I may wind up hating it- can always just donate it to a thrift shop- just using scraps....
then that first clue came up & I about backed right back out....make How Many ??? Are you kidding me....
then again I reminded myself- use some of those scraps up- that many should make a dent- so I stuck it out . Glad I did. It’s not my ( usual taste) a bit too busy for me- doesn’t go with anything I own- but I think it will make a nice gift- I do like it and maybe I just might not be as ( shy) about the next mystery that catches my attention. :)
