Hi everyone I finally finished my Sampler 1 quilt this is my 1st crack at it but I'm happy with how this one turned out for my first go at it. I'm in the middle of a second quilting class now doing the Monterray Medallion I'll post pics of that one once its done. I still need to put the backing on this one, but I'm hooked now on the quilting bug. Any feedback would be very much appreciated, thanks!

Thank you all for the wonderful feedback! I appreciate all of your comments. I'm having a great deal of fun with the second one of course I opted for the "challenge" version and I've signed up for my 3rd class which is sampler 2 with some applique in it amongst other things. I love our instructor she is a fantastic teacher and every time I go into the shop I see more pretty things that I want to take classes for. Poor hubby he has no idea how much more I plan on doing

Love those colors......your pieceing is great.....I noticed one tiny hst flipped in the basket block....but I only mentioned bc you asked for any feedback. I love samplers

Thanks Teal, that block drove me nuts I had already taken it apart 3 times and noticed when I put the block together that it was upside down. I said heck with it being the 1st quilt I'd call it a oops. But I do appreciate all the feedback I've received and look forward to sharing more photos with you as I progress.
