I have finally finished this Memory quilt for my daughter. It includes fabrics from her grandparent's and children's clothing as well as photos of each of them. I have truly appreciated all the help from board members along the way. The borders and prairie points resulted from your suggestions. NOW I am very afraid to wash it , but have gleened all the information from this site and plan to bite the bullet and go for it. Thanks to everyone who helped with this process. It was my first photo quilt, my first QAYG, and my first time putting on prairie points. Couldn't have done it without all of your advice and encouragement!!

Hi 'tntcorrao' It is actually South Range and is in the opposite corner of the state - just south of Superior. Thank you for the kind comment.

Carol in WI 07-09-2011 11:37 AM

Thank you board members for all the kind comments and the advice along the way. It has been a fun quilt to make and brought many memories back to me as well. Our daughter is a very nostalgic one, so I believe she will enjoy it. Only problem may be that they live in Texas and it is a warm and heavy quilt. I have been trying to get them to move back to WI and now with their temperatures in the 100's* and ours in the 70's, it just might work :)
