Quilt was a bear, as I was doing QAYG with not too many instructions. Had to fake quite a bit. For a friend's little girl.

Very pretty. There are QAYG instructions in the tutorial section on this board. I have several and think they take longer that the usual way. Your work will be loved by the the girl.

very pretty! It doesn't look you had any trouble at all! I have started making my quilts with the qayg method due to arthritis. Just can't push those big quilts around anymore. I really enjoy the process.

homecaregiver 07-26-2012 03:55 AM

that is a bright quilt and done with love I am sure for a little girl.

Cindy60545 07-27-2012 03:40 AM

I don't think I'd have attempted QAYG for this pattern. You did a great job on this!

helenquilt 07-27-2012 04:26 AM

Beautiful Quilt. Would not have thought of using the dresdan plate on a child's quilt but it made up so pretty

Yooper32 07-27-2012 04:33 AM

Love your narrow border strip, carried over into the last border, nice little added attraction and the rest of the quilt is none too shabby either.
