I don't remember when I started this...but finished the top in April of 2012. I have did a couple other small quilts in between. There was no sunlight and just couldn't seem to get any photos that really show the quilting.

tesspug 01-03-2013 05:22 PM

Quiltaddiction 01-03-2013 05:26 PM

Thats a lovely log cabin quilt very pretty and one of my favourite blocks and I would swear your kitty is identical to my little girl I call her my quality controller seems they have that in common too :)

Barb_MO 01-03-2013 05:30 PM

I really like this log cabin. I like the constrast between the lights and darks. I make several scrappy log cabins but I have a problem of picking fabrics for the light side. I sort them, but always seem to get some fabrics in that once it is all done they don't appear as light as I thought.
I can see the quilting in the bottom picture, did you do those wavy lines on your domestic machine. I saw a quilt done like this a couple days ago, and just love how it was quilted.

I quilted this on a Juki98Q....it has slightly more throat space.

Both this kitty and her brother have absolutely loved this quilt. It is well initiated. I usually say that my quilts have the KTCA seal of approval...Kitty Tested, Cat Approved.

Oh, and Puss Puss, the kitty in this pictures is the re-incarnation of a kitty we had a few years ago. Just the same little petite face and body. As far as looks. Personality is a different story.
