That looks wonderful, those star blocks look so 3-deminsional. Excellent work!

I don't know what that quilt was telling you but whatever that was I am glad you listened to it. :D Beautiful and colorful and I know what you mean by becoming a monster. Your quilt is the most outstanding TSHIRT quilt I have ever seen. Good Job.

WOW! That is a stellar quilt!   I am a Trekkie, too, and I LOVE the quilt. How fascinating that you got so much of the fabric from Wal-Mart. I just may have to go look to see what my local one has, as they are not a super store and open 24/7.

Very creative, love colors. Both my kids (44 & 38) would love one, so it'll go on my to-do=list. Don't like to be a copycat, but this is so unique. Thanks for the idea.

Astonishing!!! did I spell that right? you sure got that design right.

Again, THANK YOU, Thank you, thank you!!!!!!

Sheila Elaine 08-03-2009 11:58 AM

Well, I did it now. My kids are 44 and 38......don't know where my head was while typing yesterday. If I sound strange, remember I'm still on pain meds.

cnolan 08-03-2009 03:23 PM

Well, she "really likes it", but is not sure she can afford it. I only asked for $350, including an expected $100 for the machine quilting. Oh, well. She said she will think about it and get back to me. Of course, I did tell her that if she decides not to take it, I will NOT be taking her T-shirts out to return to her! :P

(insert BIG SIGH here)

Now I may have TWO tops that I have invested major time and cash into for clients, only to be "stood up" on payment. Oh, well.... maybe some day I will try to sell them as tops only, or some day (dreaming here, admittedly!), I will have my own long-arm machine so I can quilt them myself.

So sorry you are having trouble getting payment. It certainly isn't due to the creative, and skilled design and execution! I am and 2 of my kids 26 and 31 are Trekkies and would love a quilt like this!

quilterj 08-03-2009 05:43 PM
