This is one of my first quilts, I saw this pattern and loved it so I did some research and finally found the pattern. Its called Fractured Crystals and was pretty easy, I still need a lot of practice on the quilting and binding part but all in all I think it's pretty good, what do you think?

Beautiful quilt. I love the pansy fabric. That is my favorite flower! I have blocks done for a pansy quilt but they have yet to be sewn together. Another UFO needing to be finished!!!

Very nice quilt in lovely colors. This Fractured Crystals pattern is by Linda Ballard. She produces some great patterns and is a wonderful teacher as well. Congratulations on a job well done.

Was this a mystery quilt? I remember starting this back in about 2003 or so. It's on my PHD list now. Needs about 6-7 more blocks and it will be done. Course I won't finish it this year, fore I am packing to move, but it is on my list.

Is this a variation of Jacob's Ladder?

karenm36 10-11-2010 07:28 PM

Very striking!! And this is one of your first quilts?! Wow! You're quite a natural at this! And if I look closely...looks like your floral is made of pansies? Hard to tell on my monitor. Partial to pansies but I haven't found that kind of fabric at my nearby store. Really nice!

DebbieLynn 10-11-2010 07:38 PM
