I also have the book "Quilts w/o corners. This is similar.
I had to choose 20 different fabrics, then cut 3 strips ( WOF ) of each color 1 inch wide and sew them together in the correct order. Then sew the strip sets together to make a tube. I made 1and 1/2 with the seams pressed to the right and 1 1/2 sets pressed to the left. I was told to use a slightly longer stitch length as that makes it easier to take apart Then they are cut into 2 3/4 inch strips (be careful to keep the piles separate) as to the direction they are pressed in. Next open a tube starting with the first and last seam. Then take a strip from the other pile and open it between strip 1 and strip 2. Continue to open the strips one notch down from the previous once you have 10 strips open (making sure they are correct) then cut them with the 9 degree ruler and sew them together. You now should have 1/4th of the circle done. My circle measures 27 inches finished. Anyone who has attempted a bargello knows how important accurate seam allowances are:(

That looks like one I made(no pic) from the book "Quilts Without Corners". Nine degree ruler used. The book has some great designs that I hope to do soon. Not really difficult with instruction given.....Mainly strip set arrangement and cut with 9 degree rulers.

I am taking a class on this the end of the month. Instuctions only called for 2 color waves. I really like the colors you have here. Hope mine turns out half as nice as yours.
