Wanted to take a class on this but didn't have the pre-sewing done so I went to see what everyone else was doing, took some notes and went home and vowed that this would NOT be another UFO at my home. I am very happy with the finished product and would like to do another someday.

Wow, very nice. How long did it take to get it in the correct color order, then finished?

What's the name of that one? Looks like the spicey spiral, but round instead. I really like this one! Your colors are perfect.

I too would love to know the pattern. I made the spicy spiral and loved it. I can't find any round patterns like yours. I need one for my round table. Beautifully done!
WOW! That is beautiful! I can't even imagine starting a project like that. It seems like it would take forever.
Wow so beautiful!!!
It's lovely. I can almost sense movement when I look at it.
That looks like one I made(no pic) from the book "Quilts Without Corners". Nine degree ruler used. The book has some great designs that I hope to do soon. Not really difficult with instruction given.....Mainly strip set arrangement and cut with 9 degree rulers.
Now this is excuisite.
That's pretty. Love the colors you chose.

Wow! You did a great job on this. Looks amazing.

I also have the book "Quilts w/o corners. This is similar.
I had to choose 20 different fabrics, then cut 3 strips ( WOF ) of each color 1 inch wide and sew them together in the correct order. Then sew the strip sets together to make a tube. I made 1and 1/2 with the seams pressed to the right and 1 1/2 sets pressed to the left. I was told to use a slightly longer stitch length as that makes it easier to take apart Then they are cut into 2 3/4 inch strips (be careful to keep the piles separate) as to the direction they are pressed in. Next open a tube starting with the first and last seam. Then take a strip from the other pile and open it between strip 1 and strip 2. Continue to open the strips one notch down from the previous once you have 10 strips open (making sure they are correct) then cut them with the 9 degree ruler and sew them together. You now should have 1/4th of the circle done. My circle measures 27 inches finished. Anyone who has attempted a bargello knows how important accurate seam allowances are:(
