JoanneS I posted the picture of the scrappy quilt and 2 others that I did . The scrappy was my learning quilt that 2 guild members helped me with sa it was my first. The 3 of us sat around for a couple of days piecing scraps and they taught me to "just go for it" and I learned about piecing, pressing, squaring and hst all at once. The quilt was a donation to the RCMP in Kelowna BC. They required that all their quilts have a 3 inch red border on both sides so they could be easily identified. All the police cruiser have 2 quilts in the trunk to be used at accident scenes etc.
