Finally my OBW after 1 year
 

It took me over a year to finish due to many interruptions and some stalling, but I finally got this done just before Christmas. I like the overall look, but am not happy with my FMQ! It is 76x64 in. The back is pieced to show off the original fabric. I did the FMQ on my DM, long daisy petals in the hexagons, and leaves in the border and setting pieces. I'm glad I tried this, but probably won't do another at least for awhile. On to making baby boy quilt for new grandson! (Much more fun!)

WOW - so fabulous! I absolutely love your borders too! Still doesn't give me the courage to cut into the $80 worth of fabric that I bought for a OBW - sigh.

Your OBW is wonderful. I really like your colors. Wish I could seen the original fabric.
I've been asking at my LQS's to see if anyone will teach a OBW class.
so far there have been no takers. I've watched tutorials, but I still don't feel confident enough to try one.
