finally posting 2 Christmas projects

The first one is an embroidery project that I started last year. I got all the blocks made, but not put together.
The second picture is the 2 little wallhangings I made for my SIL for hwer kitchen. I made the one with the flower and nonChristmas fabric so she could have one for the rest of the year.i was going to put a bird in the top of the 'tree', but i forgot and fused the star on. I could rip the fabric off but the glue was still there. So I drew a funky flower big enough to cover the spot! The pattern is from That Patchwork Place. it's cute, but a lot of handwork. :(

Oh how I LOVE the pepper trees!! I am going to have to search for that pattern! I'll bet your SIL loves them!! I think the flower on top was quite a clever fix and if you had not confessed to us I don't think anyone would have known! Your cardinal piece is beautiful as well!

The pattern for the pepper tree is from 'that Patchwork Place ' and is called Hot, Hot, Hot Holiday Tree. My LQS ordered it for me, but I did find it online also. It must have been fairly popular because it was backordered for a while.

The cardinalmwallhanging design is an Anita Gooddesign project. That company has some really beautiful designs and this was a free class from the local dealer where I bought my machine.

The cardinal hanging is so beautifully done, and so elegant. If it were on my wall I think it would go up early and come down late! The large candy canes surrounding the chiles is great in color and pattern, and because sweet and hot go so nicely together. Nicely done, all around.
