Finished a 10 Year Old UFO
2 Attachment(s)
This quilt is about 10 years old. I started it right after my daughter got married, hoping for a grandchild. I bought the fabric at Hancock Fabrics, while it was still going strong and there were four of them within range to drive to. :( Back in the day I quilted with only 100% cotton batting, so this is a heavy quilt. I think it may need to stay in the family for when we have a little one.

Lovely quilt, so bright and cheery. Yes, definitely hold on to it.

It's darling! It would be cute to hang on a wall in a nursery room.
Oh my! I bet it feels good to get it finished up.
Did you hand quilt this beauty? Nice job!
Cute quilt and finished!
Things get better with age. Super quilt. BrendaK

Great finish! It is a good day when these projects are finished.

It is so pretty. I can just hear the little animated looking critters around the center.

Thanks for all the nice comments. |
Wonderful finish. I love how the colors of the quilt bring out the colors in your fun border print. You really have a nice way of coordinating your fabric. Definitely a keeper...
that is too, too cute and I adore turtles.
Beautiful. I love the border fabric :)
Oh that's a beauty!!!!!! Yes, keep it!!

That's a very colorful quilt. Little ones will love looking at all those colors.
good for you!! i have some 'old' tops too!
Super cute! I'd keep that one too. Just think how unique it is now that the fabric has not been available for 10 years :-)
Just adorable!! Fantastic finish...good for you..
Good for you! Glad you finished this charming quilt. Another UFO bites the dust!
VERY cute and love the border fabric.
Very nice, indeed! I put things like that in my "hope chest". I think my final grandchild is on the way!
It's adorable. I love that it would be great for either a boy or girl. My son and DIL were married 13 years when they finally had their baby when both were 36, and then the second son became a father at age 40. So don't give up too soon!
This is sssooooo cute. Why did you wait so long?
So cute and love all of the bright and colorful fabrics.
It's pretty.. Hopefully a little one will come along.

Terrific quilt! Congrats on the finish!

Cute quilt. Don't give up on the grands. We waited 11 years for our first one and now we have 9. Each son had 3 each, I never would have dreamed this. God is good all the time!!
That's wonderful, pewa!
Beautiful quilt and a keeper for sure.
OMG, how cute!
Great looking quilt. I LOVE the "Wind in the Willows" stories. I sure hope you have a little one soon!
That is really cute, and I sure hope that finishing it means the beginning of needing it:)
Thanks, y'all!
