This is finished except for the binding! It is for my grandson's 3rd birthday....his first "big boy quilt"!
There are no two jar fabrics the same, thanks to many people here on this site! I had about 13 fabrics that I had found, but I put a call out on this board for people who wanted to trade bug fabrics and I got an OVERWHELMING response! :) This is machine pieced and machine quilted. It is a big twin size. I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and not point out all the flaws in my quilts so I will not say anything negative about the quilt, but I will say this...FMQ is NOT my forte! That is why I hand quilt...because I'm better at it and it's "easier"...ie, I don't like fighting with the quilt to get it through the arm in my machine. My machine must have a REALLY small opening because it's all I can do to get quilts squished through it! :( Along with the pieced blocks, I added some embroideries to the top before quilting it! :) front...72 jars in all!
