Finished Christmas Present
 

I finished my Christmas gift for my DS. I have never completed a quilt so fast, this is a Log Cabin Barn Raising extra long double. I started it mid Sept and finished it at the end of Nov. Machine and hand pieced and hand quilted. I use a hoop as my home is to small for a quilting frame. The flowers are quilted in red thread and the darks of the logs are done in natural thread.

My Grandmother hand quilted and I would sit for hours helping her, I think she pulled all my stitches out when I went home. Still don't have the hang of it. Your Log Cabin is beautiful!!
