Decided 10 days ago to make a quilt for a friends daughter. Wedding is tomorrow, finished this about 10 minutes ago. Both bride and groom are music teachers, and was unable to find any musical instrument fabric. The centre motif on their quilt was from their wedding invitation, and the invite was in mauve and cream.Just have to hope they like it as much as I do. :lol:

Wow, never even thought about size. It's 54"square.And the only fabric I have left is the cream.Only just had enough of the mauve and purple to frame the label.

You should have looked online for musical fabric! I have over 60 DIFFERENT musical fabrics - been saving them for years. (I have a daughter who is a music teacher, too, so that's where mine will go, if I ever get to it!) :-)
