Great job! You are, indeed, a good friend to take on such a task. It is gorgeous.

GingerK ... amazing work on your part in turning those 12 blocks into a stunning quilt. Most would have just slapped on plain borders, but congratulations to you for all the thought and planning you put into this. The fine block borders and the secondary pattern created with the prints really sets off your friend's work. Then how many flying geese? And not stopping there before before adding the delectable mountains. And more of those fine border strips mixed in all along the way. Now for the LA work and it'll gets even better!!

Your friend and her daughter are going to be so thrilled with your creation for them!
