Finished just in the nik of time!!

I finally got the borders put on and got it quilted and bound. I worked hard on it until it was done. It only took me 3 hours to quilt. I have to be improving cause the last one took me at least 7 hours. Of course, I had to stop for breaks. hehehee!! But, I didn't stop on this one. Time was running out for me to have it ready for the fair. Just barely made it. But, I was in such a hurry, I forgot to load 2 of my entries in the truck and left without them. Oh, well,........ There is always next year.

Went down to the fairgrounds to see if I won any ribbons on it. I didn't win on this one. But, I did get a blue ribbon on my hand pieced, hand quilted double bit ax. And, 3rd place on a One Block Wonder Table runner. So, I wasn't too disappointed. I got Best of Show on my Green tomato pickles in the canning section. So, I am happy.

It is beautiful! I am intrigued by blacks and whites even though they are not me and your log cabin use is very, very pleasing. Best of luck at the fair.
