Finished King Quilt
1 Attachment(s)
My Granddaughter had seen one like this and asked me to make her one.. She said it looks very pretty on her bed. But I don't think I'll be doing any more Kings for a while.

A beautiful job on this!!!
King sz is daunting, but you made it look wonderful. I'm sure your grdaughter loves it.
Very nicely done! Certainly a wonderful gift for your granddaughter. Curious what machine you quilted this on as I'm gathering up the nerve to (someday) make a King for our bed. Wondering what machine allowed you to manage such a large quilt.

its beautiful! love the colors and the pattern. you did a great job
It’s lovely! Did it take long to do? Was it quilted on a longarm?

Wow!! Beautiful! I've made a few California kings, I said no more!! then did another.. Hope never again. They are daunting!!
OMG! That's one beautiful quilt and since blue is my favorite color, that doesn't hurt either. :)
That pattern is gorgeous in those colors. I am sure she loves it.
Very pretty quilt. Love the hunter star pattern.
Gorgeous. What a good grandmother you are! The largest I've made so far is an almost-twin and said "never again," but I bet I will. I keep finding all these things I once said I'd never do, and doing them.
beautiful! and I love the colors you used! Did you quilt it on your DSM or a longarm?
Lovely quilt! The colors are great.
I would be very interested in knowing how much in yardage of each fabric that you started with before cutting your pieces for this Hunter Star pattern? I want to do one in two fabrics, but also would like to do one in scrappy.....and yes, for a King Sized bed. Thank you.
Beautiful job!! Is it machine or hand quilted? I hand quilt and am finishing a king myself. Lot's of work so I admire you so much if this is hand quilted.

An absolutely stunning quilt. Hunter's star is a lovely pattern. The fabrics you chose and the size of the blocks are just wonderful for this quilt. It looks so special on that bed. Another one? Never say never!
