Haven't been online for a while - finally finished my bargello! What a job! I started out trying to machine quilt but gave up and started over. This one is hand quilted like all my others. The colors don't show up as bright as they truly are. My picture-taking expertise is like my quilting, I guess. The stitching in the close-up doesn't show very well either but it is purple thread on the white. Not too sure I like that - maybe should have stayed with the white. Violet backing looks blue in picture. Anyway, here it is.

What a beautiful bargello... my quilting buddy made on in our group and i know the work that goes into these..hers was a kit with "black to brights" up to 1/4" strips... don't know where you girls get the patience.. but i LOVE looking....bj

I am starting a Cathedral Windows. I may start another Swish in January with marvellove. Then I want to make the Barb MO pattern . Don't forget the tips and tricks because I will be asking you for them. Better yet, go ahead and send me all your notes and I will have them. :) Good job! |
